Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
When you use the contact form on our website, we collect personal data about you which includes basic information (name) and contact information (email address); by completing the contact form with your information, you consent to the processing of such data by our firm for the purposes described under IV (uses of your personal data).
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
Under the applicable legislation, you have a) the right to access the personal data we hold about you and process, as well as to be informed further on such processing; b) the right to obtain the rectification of any inaccurate personal data we hold about you; c) the right to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us; d) the right to object to our processing of some or all of your personal data, as well as e) the right to obtain the erasure of your data, under certain circumstances. Furthermore, where applicable you also have f) the right to data portability, according to which you may request the transmission of your personal data to another legal services provider. Additionally, you may withdraw your consent from the processing of your personal data by our firm at any time by sending an email to the address provided below. In such case, we will delete your data from our database. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The withdrawal of consent does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
We will not share or disclose your personal data to any third party except from our IT service providers, who are data processors, act on behalf and under the instructions of our firm and are bound to comply with all necessary technical and organizational measures for the protection of your data.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
